Who provides the service
Palpitation Clinic is a private cardiology service provided by Dr Aftab Gill, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist (GMC 4499826). It is not an NHS service and does not provide emergency care.
Fees and payment
- A video or telephone consultation costs £199.
- You pay by card when you request your consultation. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see your card details.
- Heart rhythm monitoring and other tests are charged separately. We'll explain the options and confirm the cost before anything is arranged.
Before your appointment
After you pay, we'll email you to arrange a time. If, after reviewing your request, we think a remote consultation isn't right for you, for example because you need to be seen in person urgently, we'll tell you and refund you in full.
Cancellations and refunds
- If you cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment, we'll refund you in full or rebook you.
- Cancellations less than 48 hours before your appointment, and missed appointments, are not refunded.
- If we need to cancel, we'll offer you a new time or a full refund.
- To cancel, reply to any email from us or use our contact form, quoting your reference.
Refunds go back to the card you paid with and usually reach your account within 5 to 10 working days.
Your consultation
The consultation is a specialist assessment. It may not always lead to a diagnosis on the day, and we may recommend tests or that you see your GP or a hospital team. The fee is for the consultation itself, whatever the outcome.
