Video consultation
A consultation with a consultant cardiologist on your phone, tablet or computer. We'll go through your symptoms, history and any recordings, explain the likely cause and recommend next steps. This is the best choice for most first appointments.
Telephone consultation
The same specialist assessment by phone, if you prefer, or if a video call is difficult. Telephone appointments also work well for follow-up, for example to go through test results.
Heart rhythm monitoring
If you need it, we'll arrange heart rhythm monitoring, such as an ambulatory ECG (Holter) monitor worn for 24 hours to several days. We'll explain how and where the monitor can be fitted, review the recording, and talk you through the results.
After your appointment
You'll receive a letter summarising the assessment, the likely diagnosis and the plan. With your consent, we'll send a copy to your GP so your records stay up to date.
Fees
We'll tell you the fee for your appointment, and for any tests, before you book. There is no charge for sending an enquiry. If you have private medical insurance, please check with your insurer before booking.

Adults in the UK with palpitations or a known heart rhythm problem who would like a specialist opinion. Our service is not suitable for emergencies.
